Her enthusiasm for European languages, mentalities and cuisines as well as her pronounced
empathy form the basis for Christa Langen's work. For more than two decades, she has consolidated
her predilections by conducting public relations for high-value foods.
Additional areas of her expertise are communicating topics centring
on the sustainability of value chains, corporate social responsibility and communication in stakeholder management.
Raised on the Dutch-German border, she complemented her languages and economics studies in London and Paris
through a part-time course in public relations consulting (DAPR). She worked for Sopexa Food Marketing
(Food from France) and as a freelance journalist for print, radio and TV.
In 2003 she became self-employed as a communication consultant and, in 2008,
founded the office partnership Lucka & Langen PR together with Susanne Lucka.
